I've all along wanted to do Lasik but was SCARE and also the cost is EXPENSIVE. Have been reading a lot about it recently on it, watching a lot of youtube too to see what type of Lasik i wanted to do.
I've talk to some of my friends who did and a lot of them had it done at The Lasik Surgery at Paragon a few years ago and till now they have good eye sight too. So i went searching on this clinic to know more about it. Read a few bad reviews on it and no doubt there were very good reviews too. so i decided to attend their forum to see how it goes.
Attended The Lasik Surgery yesterday in their clinic, i felt that it was rather disappointing. Upon reaching as it start at 7pm, i was usher into the seminar room where i saw about 16 people there. The doctor wasn't around and they got a Caucasian lady to present to us what is Lasik about, not really detail as i thought it should be. Ending like 7.30pm. They then asked us to booked appointment for evaluation for my eyes giving a discount and only need to pay $26 (if i remember rightly, i know its $20plus not sure the exact amount) instead of usual price $107. Dont really feel confidant as doctor wasn't around to even give the talk.
Today i went to Shinagawa Lasik & Eye Centre at Wheelock Place for their forum. I also did read up on them and found that they are quite good in what they do. Upon reaching as i was early so i was usher to the waiting area, there were packed drinks and bread being serve. One thing im impress was that the doctor was around giving his precious time here instead of just getting someone to give the talk. It really built up my confidant in this clinic. Dr Lee was really good in explaining the difference type of lasik provided, very detail on what's lasik about, giving the pro and cons on it too. The feeling is very DIFFERENCE from LSC. You should try and you will know what i meant.
after the talk ended i decide to booked an appointment for evaluation of my eyes. Packed here was difference. we were given a $200 discount on any package and if we decide to go ahead with the Lasik, the evaluation for my eyes is free and not to forget they have 12 months interest free instalment too if your have UOB, Citibank and Diners card. i do not have credit card BUT for this i'll go apply!
They even have Latisse which claims it will help to grow your eyelashes longer, thicker and darker. Will go read more about it first before i'll wanna give this a try.
My appointment for evaluation of my eyes with Shinagawa will be on 29 September. will update more on it soon!
