Policies of the PAP are no better. You been to a government hospital lately? Ever wondered why most of the healthcare professionals are foreign? Our own students cannot study medicine in Singapore due to stupid quotas set by our own unis. Did the govt not foresee an increase in demand for healthcare due to an aging population? Our beloved Health Minister can come out to say if Singapore too expensive, send our elderly to JB nursing home! The same elderly who worked hard and contributed to our nation's growth. His stance is the crux of the problem. They are absolutely in power, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. They are arrogant, and out of touch. Stop using what the old guard has built to canvass votes. Do not think my generation can be hoodwinked, threatened, cajoled. Understand this, MM Lee came in on an opposition ticket as well. Did he have any track records to show for back then? No? So who are you to say the Opposition this time round will not lead Singapore to greater heights? I do not know that they definitely will. But I am willing to give them a chance.
